Chicago based sound engineer that for many years has worked across film, podcast and musical mediums as a sound editor, sound designer, sound effects editor, re-recording mixer, foley editor and composer. More than anything else, as it pertains to my work, I love crafting intricate and detailed soundscapes that help paint emotional canvases.

I deeply value community engagement and am passionate about fostering collaboration and engaging in thoughtful dialogue with fellow creators and humans alike. Although fully immersed in the U.S. my roots are also firmly planted in the country of Bolivia - which I consider to be home.

Ingeniero de sonido con sede en Chicago que, durante muchos años, ha trabajado en cine, podcast y medios musicales como editor de sonido, diseñador de sonido, editor de efectos de sonido, mezclador de re-grabación, editor de foley y compositor. Más que cualquier otra cosa, en lo que respecta a mi trabajo, me encanta crear paisajes sonoros detallados y complejos que ayuden a pintar lienzos emocionales.

Valoro profundamente el compromiso con la comunidad y me apasiona fomentar la colaboración y participar en un diálogo reflexivo con otros creadores y seres humanos. Aunque estoy completamente inmerso en EE. UU., mis raíces también están firmemente plantadas en Bolivia, país que considero mi hogar.

Here are some of the podcast projects I’ve been involved with, “Working it Out” with Mike Birbiglia is ongoing. The spanish version of The Crisis (an investigative podcast into the dealings of a U.S. coal company in Colombia and Alabama) “Contra Natura” was a finalist in the “Premios Gabo” (under the coverage category) in 2021.
